Maps

This page will contain all the maps I create during the run of my dissertation project, including the ones that are under development. You can see the first one, Boylesque in the Twitter World, above.

Boylesque in the Twitter World represents the 2,855 tweets on the topic of boylesque between October 15 and April 29. I have used TAGS to scrape Twitter for the tweets, and then matched the users of the tweets with their locations, geotagged the locations for the user, and then posted the map here with each of their tweets located where the users are located. As with any methods, the method poses some problems. I am trying to summarize them in this blog post.
